Movie Review: "Into the Wild"

Sean Penn and Eddie Vedder are two figures I admire. I was so excited when I heard two of them collaborated in a project:Into the Wild , the movie based on true story of Christopher McCandless Journey. It is the 1st Must See film of the year!

The movie is so special to me because the film is directed by Sean Penn, my favorite actor. All the theme songs, written & sang by Eddie Vedder, my favorite singer.Vedder won Golden Globe for the best Original Song and nominated in Grammy Award for the Best song written for motion picture, TV and visual media. The movie also nominated in the academic Award for the Best supporting actor (Hal Halbrook) and The Writer Guild America for the best Adapted Screenplay (Sean Penn).

The story is opened with the perfomance of the central actor, Emile Hirsch (Christopher McCandless) walking into the wild of Alaska. In the same time, we could hear the intro theme song sang by Eddie Vedder which represents the emotion of the actor.

The most of all, Sean Penn successfully visualized frame by frame of the Cristopher McCandless’ personal journey in a beautiful screen. I bet everyone who’ve been watched this film were brought to the adventures and deeply touched by how Chris survived. Although personally…I’m not so happy with the ending;-p
