Holding a photograph of old memory
We were kids
Full of Joy and laughing
Playing in the rain
Forgot the pain
Friends were everything
Hid and Seek
Home at six
Girls cheerfully played the dolls
copying a mother’s model
Boys blissfully played the war
Imitating a hero’s manner
Sharing chocolate cookies
Tasted the flavor
Crisp…Crisp…Crunch…!
Chomping fruity gum
Bit it… chewed it…blew it up!
I turn the picture, hold it in my chest
Now I’m 35,Old, fat, ugly and wrinkled…
Friends, welcome to the club over 30
